How does domain registration work?
Zoner registers .fi domains for you from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency. Other top-level domains are registered by using international registries. When the domain registration is complete, Zoner’s name servers are assigned, and the domain can be managed through our services.
How to choose a good domain name?
You should pay attention when choosing the domain, as it is usually one of the first things a website’s visitor notices. A good domain name is easy to remember, promotes the company’s brand, and helps with search engine visibility.
Who can register a .fi domain?

How do I know that the domain I want is available?

How long will I own the domain?
You own the domain as long as you want. We always renew the domain name automatically for one year at a time. If you no longer wish to own the domain name, you must terminate it in writing to us.
What does a domain parking service mean?
Domain parking means a storage space for registered domain names that have not yet been used actively. Registering the domain name as early as possible for future use is recommended so that competitors do not have time to take it first.
Zoner’s domain parking service includes name servers and DNS management for the domain, which are required to direct the domain to the desired services. If you don’t order separate hosting from us, we will always activate the domain parking service without any additional costs!
Does the domain include email or hosting for a website?
The domain alone does not include email or a website, but they can be added to your order easily. Our domain service automatically includes the domain parking service, which is a storage space for an already registered domain.
